Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS) has created the Rising Star Program to offer recent college graduates, current students, first-time buyers, and military the Mercedes-Benz experience. The Rising Star Program offers requirements aimed towards customers with minimal credit histories so they can enjoy their early success and start the journey as Mercedes-Benz customers for life.

  • College Graduate – Geared toward those with a degree, no car credit and now progressing in their career.
  • Student – For those local & international students needing a path toward approval.
  • First Time Buyer (New & Certified Pre-Owned) – A great option for those with limited credit who do not require a high amount to finance.
  • Military – Geared toward those currently serving U.S. Military, Reserve, or National Guard and no car credit.

  • New Mercedes-Benz vehicles leased or financed through Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS) only

College Graduate Requirements

  • Graduate of 4-Year College or University, Graduate Program or Registered Nursing Program
  • Proof of Enrollment or Graduate Status or Letter from the Registrar’s Office
  • Last 3 Months of Bank Statements
  • Amount Financed Cannot Exceed $55,000
  • 24 Months of Established Credit*
  • Clean Credit History
  • No Down Payment Required
  • No Security Deposit in NY
  • Lease or Finance Offers
  • Variable Term Lengths

Current Student Requirements

  • Current Student of 4-Year College or University, Graduate Program or Registered Nursing Program
  • Official Transcript or Letter from the Registrar’s Office
  • Last 3 Months of Bank Statements
  • Amount Financed Cannot Exceed $55,000
  • Clean Credit History
  • 25% Down Payment
  • No Security Deposit in NY
  • Term Cannot Exceed Student Visa if Applicable
  • Lease or Finance Offers
  • References and Proof of Residence Required

First Time Buyer Requirements

  • Last 3 Months of Bank Statements
  • Amount Financed Cannot Exceed $50,000
  • Proof of Residency Required – Utility bill or Lease Agreement
  • 3 Verifiable Personal References
  • 24 Months of Established Credit*
  • Clean Credit History
  • No Down Payment Required
  • No Security Deposit in NY
  • Variable Term Lengths
  • Lease and Finance Offers

Military Approval Checklist

  • Proof of U.S. Military, Reserve, or National Guard Enrollment
  • Proof of Income – Last 3 Months of Bank Statements
  • Amount Financed Cannot Exceed $55,000
  • 24 Months of Established Credit*
  • Clean Credit History
  • Payment to income not to exceed 20% of Gross Monthly Income

*Must be individual or joint. Authorized user will not qualify.
