INTRODUCING THE FIRST-EVER MERCEDES-BENZ A-CLASS

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedan is expected to arrive in the U.S. by end of 2018.  As an entry-level car for Mercedes but also as a showcase for new entertainment and safety technology. The price point puts this new Mercedes-Benz well within your reach, expected to be in the low- to mid- $30,000 range!

“The alpha baby Benz is arriving in the U.S.A. for the first time – and for the first time anywhere as a sedan!  The new A-class sedan will be positioned slightly below the CLA, whose swoopy styling classifies it as a four- door coupe.  Aero-focused details include active grille shutters and extensive underbody paneling that includes a piece below the engine compartment incorporating NACA ducts. The design features a CLS-inspired nose and smooth surface detailing. It’s arguably prettier than the Europe-only hatchback.”

◊  Bundles will include the AMG® Line (revised air intakes and fascias), a Night package (gloss-black exterior trim), and an Exterior Lighting package (upgraded LED headlights with adaptive beams).

◊  New touch screen inputs as well as a touch pad and touch control buttons on the steering wheel.

◊  Heads up display which will show speed, speed limits, navigation instructions etc.

◊ 4MATIC® all-wheel-drive system, wheel sizes start at 17-19 inches, panoramic sunroof, LED head- and taillights, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, push-button start, forward-collision warning with automated emergency braking, and Dynamic Select adjustable driving modes.

It thus creates an emotional connection between the vehicle and driver. Moreover, new content can be transmitted “over the air” as updates.”
